FACTORY EXPERIENCE - II

At work:

We were wondering how to tackle the menace caused by a rat which had intruded in our factory. Wires were being chewed and cut causing immense problems  in our assembly line of electronic instruments. After a few days, we decided to use RAT POISON  to kill the rat. One evening before closing we spread pieces of cake of rat poison on the path usually traced by the rat hoping that rat would die after eating them.
Next day morning when we opened the factory, the cake pieces were missing. We were all happy in anticipating that after eating the pieces of rat poison, the rat must have got killed. But no sooner we heaved a sigh of relief, a rat just sprinted his usual path.  We got surprised and annoyed too. Some 2-3 persons took sticks in their hands and chased the rat. The rat went on to the loft. Our persons also went onto loft. The rat disappeared behind a sheet of plywood. Determined to finish off the rat they lifted the sheet of plywood. And lo!  All the pieces of cake of rat poison were lying there.  The rat had not eaten them. But it had collected all that attractive food to be eaten in times of emergency. An  act of saving for the rainy day.
